Compliments' response ???

Question

How intelligent & witty your response be to certain compliments like:

>> I like you
>> I love you
>> You're so funny
>> You look beautiful
>> You're quite a hard-worker
>> I like your attire
>> You're quite a turn-on (if that IS a compliment ;)

and so on (do add more to the list ALONG WITH the best response you can think of for that as well).

For "I like you", I'd mose probably respond back with "feelings are mutual" (except, at times).

For "You're so beautiful" would most likely be responded with "as long as you're around, I'd always stand SECOND".

For the "hard-working" comment, I reckon, "it's just in my hormones" seems appropriate.

My responses are never too witty when it comes to compliments. I usually take the "Thank You" route and leave it at that...

someone once said 'i love you' to me while trying to have his wicked way,
' no you don't' said I,
'I know i don't but i could' said he.
we are still friends though 30 years later.

if someone says the turn on thing i say
'thank you i think'

my husband says i am beautiful all the time, i like it, even though i know his eyesight is failing.

all the other compliments i just smile and accept happily.
