So far, it seems like the majority of questions involve only American topics... Is that becuase Yahoo Answers mixes them up all the time anyway?

I'm just wondering, becuase I'm from America, and I wanted to see what kinds of questions y'all were asking, but they're really the same.

Yes, I'm from Scotland which is still part of the UK. I've noticed that confusion too when somebody asks a question that is particularly "British", some of our fellow users across the pond get as confused just as we would if faced with questions about particular US things, e.g baseball. One example I remember was somebody asking a question about the pop star Robbie Williams, who has never made it big in America and as a result confused this with the actor Robin Williams.
I'm thinking there isn't a country specific questtions and we all get to answer each others, which is good as for bigger questions it gives a different perspective, e.g political ones.

I was born in and lived in Limerick for 12 years before immigrating to America. This question pops up because I've got the filter set to all English questions.

Well, I'm NOT God................ but I'm BRITISH (which is, frankly speaking, the next best thing).

I reckon, it's GOOD that UK & USA questions are mixed, so as to have our question targeted to wider audiences & have variety of responses, however, it'd be rather helpful to have person's location listed somewhere around their name, if Yahoo Answers prefer to do so.

No I'm dutch actually...And I share the feeling that a lot of the questions are the same... Probably out of boredom I guess. I try to ask things that are useful to me, I thought that was the point..

I am in America, didn't go to Yahoo UK, so they must post the questions everywhere.

Judging by the way they dish out such stupid violation notices, I doubt that they know the difference, so it's not a case of mixing them up, they just don't know where they're supposed to be.

I'm in Manchester too, and I can tell you that it pretty much DOES almost always rain, previous commentor! Well in my short experience of the city anyway...around 9 months (I was away for the supposed 'heat wave')
