I have to start 2 of these 3 WR's:

Joey Galloway vs. Ravens D
N.Burleson vs. Lions D.
K.Johnson vs. Falcons D.

So far, I got Burleson and Johnson to start b/c I don't like to go against Ravens D and Keyshawn is likely to play w/o Steve Smith, who would take his catches/TD's. Is this a good reason to bench Joey Galloway?
Thanks

Tough sledding this week...

I like your choice of Burleson and Keyshawn.

Darrell Jackson may not play for Seattle, and they should have their way with the Lions. You're only risk is if they put the game away early, with Alexander the Great, but that shouldn't happen in Week 1.

Johnson should pick up a lot of slack, even if Smith plays. I could see 80 yards and a TD. Atlanta has bolstered their pass rush, but Delhomme can get it to him.

I don't trust the Tampa offense against Baltimore. I think Simms is going to be under pressure, and Ed Reed is going to be lurking everywhere. Galloway had a nice season, but I would sit him.

Good luck!

I would start Burleson def. because the Lions defense isn't that great and they will leave him open alot. I find it hard to start Keyshawn because if Steve Smith is out, ATL. will double team him cause he's Carolina's only reciever, if Steve Smith does actually play, look to Delhome to hook up with Smith more then Keyshawn. Galloway is 100% healthy too and I had him on my fantasy roster last year and he put up some good numbers, good enough that I'm starting him on my fantasy team. So I would suggest going with Galloway and Burleson as your starters.
Best Wishes

I would start Galloway and Burleson. I know that Steve Smith may be out, but I believe that the ATL D will shut down Johnson. Galloway is the #1 WR in Tampa and he should get most looks against an aging Baltimore D. Burleson is a shoe-in to start, I too have him in my lineup.

You are thinking the same way I am, and I am also worried about Galloway in TB because it seems Ds are having more success batting down Simms passes. The Ravens will be all over that, I can see that making a dent in Galloway's numbers this week. Burleson's numbers should go up with Jackson's health concerns in Seattle.

I would not bench Galloway for Burleson, regardless of the matchup. He's a much more consistent receiver and a better deep threat.

go with the better options, K. Johnson & J. Galloway. Galloway is a must start every game. Johnson is your better option b/c Smith may not be there. Burlson is just an over-rated WR. Once that knee starts kicking in, dump him!

i would go with burleson as the lions d fence is not good...and key becuase like you said without smith(if he is not able to go) will be the # 1 reciever. gl i started burleson too.

Coles seems to me to be the guy to put in there. i do no longer fairly like the two Hester or Muhammad that lots to opt to start them, whether it have been a niche start up. With my luck, Coles would be held catchless at the same time as Hester and Muhammad score two times!
