#1 could be ok too, if u come up w/ someone who advises a friend one thing, but it is not good, and blows up in his/her face!
#2 reminds me of a boy or girl changing suddenly to impress the opposite sex, and their friends suffer.

I can ask you to go with #1.Try and tell about some one advising wrong things and a family following that...they lose heavily and they finally find or realise that it is bad advice that has caused all this misery!!!

i would go with #2
i'm sure you have seen someone with some sort of loss and they haven't recovered...
or someone who won a lot of stuff or money
i'm sure you know of someone who is differnt! then whom they were before some event!
i would go with that one!
make it personal then tend to have more FEELING!
