The detractors are in deep denial.
= Pollution has no effect on Earth.
= Natural resources are limitless.
= The only life that matters are humans, and only SOME of them.
= Diminishing the rights/liberties of U.S. citizens, while leaving borders wide open is the most effective way to thwart terrorism.
= It's our soldier's DUTY to die for whatever false pretense our President decides.
= If you don't defend and stand behind every lie our President tells, then you're unpatriotic.
= If you don't want our soldiers lives wasted on lies, or wars started under false pretense, you're not supporting them.
= Those who defend our Constitution are Nazi liberals .
= Mega-corporations care about us.
= The mega-corporate owned news bureaus give accurate, unbiased, news reports.
= The economy is doing GREAT! I have 3 jobs!!!
= Our President doesn't have enough power.
= Granting everyone equal civil rights will somehow, someway, affect good moral people's rights in some way...somehow or another...so fight it!
= Heterosexual marriage is under attack!!!! (Bombing will begin shortly)
= Mexicans will ruin our economy...or at least make it worse than it is.
= Mexicans will take our jobs! Software Engineers beware...Juan Gonzales, from his cardboard box shantytown on the outskirts of Guadeloupe, is going to take your job so he can feed his kids. YOUR kids will starve!
= The BIBLE dictates America's morals, especially that Old Testament part that's Judaic and not even Christian, and wasn't even in the original Bible. Yeah, God wants us to hate and punish everybody that isn't just like us. Hey, who was Senator Joe McCarthy, anyways???
Ok, two rules:
1.) Never argue with a drunk.
2.) Never argue with an irrational person.
Oh, same thing.

His opinion on the environment is politically motivated at best. The world has gone through numerous climate changes during the recent eons and to base complete social changes on short term observations is ill advised as best. At one time, most of the central part of what is today the U.S. was covered by the "inland sea" - fossil proof of this vast sea are readily evident in WY & MT. This same area was at one time covered with sheets of ice, called glaciers. Infact, the melting glaciers allowed "Lake Missoula" to flood most of current ID, OR, & WA with a huge avalanche of water. The last mini Ice age ended about 1840 in this country! The Alantic ocean froze up to 1 mile off shore near
New England. Gore hasn't bothered to explain any of these recorded climates changes because they don't fit his political agenda of social control of the people by government regulation.

Even the Democrats make fun of Gore, not because he lies.
But because he's so bad at lying.

Then you quote a scientist whose donations do not depend on proving that "global warming" or "climate change" does exist.
