On my 1960 220 SEb I have 568,000 miles. This car was originally the property of a head of state, and it was a gift from him to my father in 1964. It has been in my house since. My dad gave it to me when I was 14, 22 years ago. I have spent something around 15,000 on it in this years. it includes new upholstery, in 1992, new tires every once in a while. I have traveled over most of north America with it. It has never let me down. Just two years ago I stopped using it as my everyday car.

well as for mine its a 1975 240D-DIESEL i found it setting in with some other old cars ready to be crushed for junk metal, i gave $500 for it, they didn't know how to start it so it was junk to them, i replaced the battery filled with clean diesel and drove it home, where i buffed out the drk blue paint cleaned it it looks nice for $500 dollars, it has almost 400.000 miles uses very little oil and gets 36MPG every day to work and back, everything works very well and i can say no one else makes cars that would last like this, no one'' after having this one i know why people love the Mercedes Benz ,rock solid cars. o the total i have spent on mine is only for a new battery thats it....

Last year I sold my 1959 219 that had 345,000 miles on it and was still running quite well. All told I spend about $18,000 on it during the 30 years that I owned it but that included some restoration work.
