Because he wasn't a flashy guy and he played for a crappy team. He was a great receiver and should be remembered as one of the best.

When he played in the NFL it wasn't a receivers league like it is now. Good or even great wide receivers were a rare commodity back then. Every single team has one if not two receivers on their roster right now better than Largent.
