Last night I let out a loud fart in the local Wal Mart standing around my friend and 3 other people, including a man of middle eastern decent.
The explosion echoed some, and everyone thought it was the mid eastern man.
Should I have took the blame, or continued to allow the other customers to blame the man of middle eastern decent?

Maybe ya'll tooted at the same time? You really don't know if he let it rip at the same time you did, do you? I think there is reasonable doubt about who is responsible...tandom farting could explain the loudness of the gaseous release. But be a gentleman and go ahead and pen a letter of apology to the good people at Wal-Mart.

My husband did the same thing at Wal Mart it was so loud. This lady turned around and gave me this terrible look. She thought it was me. You will never see these people again so why fess up. Next time try to hold it in for goodness sakes.
