Oh everybody is always looking for something. These questions are falling on my head like, like, oh, a memory I guess, almost like a new emotion. It almost makes me want to call a missionary man. He would probably say stop what your doing, get down upon your knees and tell me he has a message for me or something. This question has really placed a chill in my heart. I guess I will go listen to Beethoven, who I love to listen to.

Those people in a fetish lifestyle. The song speaks of people wanting to be abused or used...or people who want to abuse or use other people......it's those "dreams" that they either want to become a reality or already have become one..."enjoying it but, knowing it's forbidden"......"falling on my head like a new Emotion"....and Annie Lenox simulates moaning/whining in that song too.

my 'sweet dreams' are made of morbid gore and bloodshed and terror. after a while i got used to the scary dreams. any way marylin manson does it best

"THESE" refer to anything that you find appealing or attractive!
Different people have different tastes, so a song that said "sweet dreams are made of...cake"
it wouldnt have as much of a meaning, because not EVERYONE likes cake (though i know its hard to believe, because cake is soooo yummy!!....mmmmm, brb, i have a sudden URGE for cake!! lol )
