No, I fear he has lost the zeal to try and move those who are stuck in cement.
He sees politics as a lost cause and has taken his views directly to the people.
At this point, my best hope lies with Wesley Clark. The man American didn't want when it needed him the most. (November 2000) He is a self made man who grew up poor. His father died when he was young and the grandparents took them in. He worked his way through west point on scholarship. He knows what it is like to be an average American. He has extensive military training. he masterminded the Kosovo operation. He knows what to do in Iraq. He is known by and trusted of the majority of European leaders from the Kosovo joint operation with NATO.
A man who understands being poor, struggling to improve things and is a military leader who also has a good understanding of economics.
What more could you ask for?????????????/

You must be a joke. Al Gore for president? Not a chance. Not even if the environmentalists led the charge for the next presidential campaign. Al Gore is not as personable as Eeyore.
Art Bell has sold far more books on the environment, the coming global superstorm, and it became one of the top 100 grossing movies in history. Al Gore sold of few of his books, mostly in bulk to political opportunits who distributed them free of charge, and there isn't a chance in Hades that an inconvenient truth will come anywhere near approaching the box office of the movie from Art Bell's book. Plus Art could have Whitley Streiber as his Vice-President, and Whitley could tell the world about his experiences with extraterrestrials.
If you want the democrats to win anything, they need to distance themselves from the conspiracy nuts.
Yes, Art Bell for President. That would be an amusing campaign.

Personally, I think Gore would be a terrible president. He's something of a political lightweight, and his stances on foriegn policy mirror Bill "Let's get into a war in Bosnia to distract from my sex scandle" Clinton's. Gore or Kerry, I don't trust them to hold the line on Terrorism. The Democratic party doesn't have anyone who has even a remote appearance of being trustworthy in carrying out the war on terrorism properly, or protecting this country against attack. Sure, Bush hasn't been the greatest president, but at least you know where he stands on the issue.

Oh dear Humanist, the Gore lover, he is pretty busy taking care of the entire planet and wanting to communicate with aliens in other planets in this regard.
So, shall we leave him alone and out of the next Presidential race? His White House buddy, former first lady, is anyway likely to be in the race!

No to Gore, Clinton, Kerry. If the democrats can't come up with someone that really cares about America they will lose again.

I think Al Gore is a genuine man who wants to help save the world. Screw politics, screw everything. The Earth is going to be submerged in water if global warming isn't stopped in the next 50 years!
You should all see the film he made, ''An Inconvenient Truth''. It comes out in January and shows him performing a presentation of 1 hour and 30 minutes about global warming, introducing us to all of the facts, injecting comedy into this, and ultimately telling us, that if we do not act within the next 50 years, we are going to die.
I liked the way he talked straight, and his facts were really serious, but introduced in a comedic manner. You must see this. Everyone must see this film. Powerful, yet imbued with an element of comedy.

Gore would be a good president...I personally think Powell would be better, overall. You can't get elected to be president if you only focus on one important issue, unfortunately.
A Powell/Gore, or Gore/Powell ticket would be a winning combo.
