I've never really felt "old". However, when I was in my late 30's (a few years back) I was in a meeting and one of the younger engineers was wearing a T-shirt with a "Thundercats" logo on it. I said something like "Cool, a Thundercats T-shirt". He said "Yep, I love retro cartoons". I thought "retro???". It was at that moment I realized that there was a noticeable generation gap between me and others who are old enough to be working at real jobs.
