Birth control pills are potent hormones. You need to take them as prescribed. You don't want to fool around with your reproductive system any more than the addition of these hormones already does.
Apparently, this method is not a good one for you. Go back to the doctor and discuss other options. I've heard of a ring that is flexible and has the same hormones. It is placed in the vagina and left there for 3 weeks. You place it yourself and it is said that neither you or your partner can feel it. Maybe that would be a good option for you. I think the name is Nuvoring. They have a website that is pretty informative.
Check it out and go back to the doctor to discuss what would be a better option for you so you don't forget or take the hormones incorrectly. That can be very dangerous.

I know a period is a pain in the butt to deal with, but that is dangerous to take your pills that way. Stop taking them! That happened to me, and when I missed my pills for 3 days I ended up pregnant because the chemical in the birth control was off and released the egg. Stop taking the pills, until you start again , then resume your pills as you normally would. If you do not start probably within 5 days take a pregnancy test and contact your Dr.
P.S. there are pills now that you only get your period every 3 months now. Try those if you hate having your period monthly.

I'm assuming you had sex during that time. If you did, you should go to the emergency room.

If you didn't have sex, then you've just totally messed up your cycle and need to see a doctor, but it's not an emergency. They might give you the morning after pill or something as a massive dose to reset your body.

It's not a good idea to mess with the order of your pills. Doing that can really mess up your cycle, cause side effects, and you won't be protected from pregnancy. If you're concerned that you might be pregnant, use a home pregnancy test with your first morning urine.

You could be pregnant...or you could really be messing with your hormones by taking the pill irregularly. Please take a pregnancy test, and call your doctor either way. If you can't take the pill regularly, there are other methods available if you're trying to avoid pregnancy.

You have really screwed up your cycle if you are not pregnant. You need to go see your gyno and tell him what is going on. He may have to take you off of the bcp, till your cycle is normal.
