I know a few girls who dress like total Whores. They are calling for every eye to be on them...but both of them cry sexual harassment when a guy winks of whistles or trys to make a move on them. What is it that they are looking for? Please explain what they are trying to express?

Wait a moment while Mom composes herself at your ignorance. Women have the right to put as much or little clothes on as they choose to. Men can walk around shirtless and with shorts on and no one castigates them. What's the difference? Men have to learn that NO means NO and to keep their hands and trouser snakes to themselves. You have to free your mind first, my son. No one tells a man who's shirtless he looks like a gigilo, do they? It should be the same for the Ladies. Change your mind set and Blessings on you.

Hard to say. Perhaps they are looking for attention, however the attention they receive is negative and what they want is positive. Somewomen dress like that hoping to get a guy who will treat them well and truely love them. Sometimes it does happen, rare, but it happens. Most of the time they'll get guys who abuse them, use them, and when they are no longer hot, the guy will move on. Maybe they are wearing the clothing because at one time they were really fat, and now they want to show off their bodies. Maybe they just like the breeze. Either way no girl ever asks for trouble, no matter how she dresses or acts. And no self respecting man would look to cause trouble in any situation. But I do agree, some fo the unsavory types in society hunt women like that and unfortunately, rape and murder does happen because some women would rather flaunt what they have instead of being safe and conscientous of their surroundings.

Excellent question - I would give it a thumbs-up. Whenever my husband and I are out shopping or just going to lunch together, we are constantly amazed at how some women are dressed. Sometimes we'll see teenage girls with hardly anything on - low cut tops or extremely short miniskirts and we wonder where their parents are and why they would let them out of the house dressed that way. But of course they can always sneak clothes out of the house or borrow/change clothes at a friends house, so alot of the time maybe the parents aren't aware of the way their kids are dressed. As far as what they are trying to express, it could be alot of different things. They could have low self-esteem and are trying to make themselves feel better (by getting noticed by guys). It could be they are trying to tease the guys by sending out the message that "yeah, I know I'm hot, look at me, look at what I have - too bad you can't have/touch it." Or maybe they are simply dressing in a particular style because they like that style, or because that's the way their friends dress and they want to fit in with their friends. At any rate, I think most of them are probably looking for some form of attention, whether it is positive or negative.

I agree with Riverotter 7. Clothes or the lack thereof should make no difference. And I don't always like seeing their navels or breast cleavage--nor do I like seeing fat women in spandex but it's a free country and body acceptance should be the norm. Most of the fashion designers are men, if you notice. Or shall we go back to the 1860's when women had to keep their head covered and could not show their ankles or elbows? Or maybe women should all wear birkas? Oy, that'll start a battle for certain.

Every woman walking has the right to wear anything that they like and not be considered a whore for doing so. Why should they be trying to express anything, they may be comfortable with their own bodies, and have a great figure. Rant at the shops that make and sell the clothes if you feel that strongly what are you going to call these pimps ???

In the Animal kingdom there is what we call flirting. All animals do it. Birds with their elaborate colours and show-offs like peacocks. The swift swimming fish, all in an attempt to attract the opposite sex. When man was a nacked Ape in th jungle, long before clothings became widespread, females exhibit their breasts and buttocks to attrct males. Then came the religious hipocricy, who sanction such exhibition tendensies, but with secularisation and freedom, we are begining to go back to nature, the jungle life in a brave new world.
I love to see our girls in skimpy dresses, that is what nature demands of them . As they say, you cannot cheat nature.
So, I say , let it all hang out for the boys. This is 21st Century and it is the Generation-Next.
The irony is that the more permissive the society becomes, the less the temptation for rapes and all the bad habits.

They are expressing their right to dress the way they want to, without anyone assuming that it is sending any kind of message. If they were dressing to attract men, they would be doing more than dressing like that, they would be flirting and stuff like that.

I agree - you have to know that when you dress in that way, you are doing so to bring some attention to you or some area of your body ..... the same reason behind the piercing and tatoo craze - saying look at ME!

Why advertise if you do not want takers?

Maybe they have low self esteem, and they need someone to notice them to make them feel worthy.
