I don't know if that's true or not, but really, does it matter? As long as civilized people everywhere are allowed to think it's true...we can go on drinking our breakfasts...and really, isn't that better than knowing the truth?

Actually, no it's not really 5 O'clock somewhere all the time. Time moves forward of 5:00, for instance to 5:17 (which is no longer 5 O'clock.) The next closest time zone would be 4:17, which is still 43 minutes shy of 5:00.

The only place I know it's always 5:00....is MargaritaVille.

of course it is!

as the earth revolves on its axis, the time zones in different countries always shift...and the time zones run parallel to eachother

So AS the earth moves one part of the grond into the one time zone, all the othe rparts move out....it would be much easier for me to explain if i had a drawing for you!

Its also true that its 1 o'clock somewhere all the time...
AND 2 o'clock...and 3...and 4...and 5... etc etc

well actually it really is 5:00 somewhere even on the half hour because somewhere in the world there is a watch or clock that has stopped working and it is on 5:00 so yes it is really 5:00 somewhere all the time!

Yes, cuz all the time zones are one hour after another, so when it turns 6 in one, the time zone after it turns 5.
