We are looking to get away the last weekend in October. No kids!! We want a nice, relaxing and romantic weekend.

Charlevoix is definitely a beautiful area, right there on the shores of Lake Michigan. I would take the ferry to Beaver Island or visit Fishermans Island State Park if you are looking to for nature.
(Charlevoix, Quebec may be one of the nicest places in Quebec, but that isn't saying much. It is Quebec, after all.)

oh you'll love the area if you're looking for relaxation and romance! picnic lunches, walks through the fall colors.... you're right by traverse bay.... oh enjoy!! here's a like to the traverse city CVB - they are close so if you're looking for more "excitement" www.mytraversecity.com/ there is also Mackinac Island for a nice day trip!

Yeah, nothing...you should instead go to Charlevoix, Quebec, one of the nicest place in that province..

there is great boating and fishing. if you like golf there are several nice courses in the area. the people are extremely friendly. a beautiful summer vacation spot
