ive noticed on my '99 honda accord that at night, the dashboard lights are dim and I can hardly see them. How can I brighten the lights on the dashboard so I can see the various dials clearly.

there is a knob on the dash somewhere for your headlights...usually that is the same knob you use to adjust your dash lights. look in your owners manual or call your dealer. no biggie.

If you look at ur speedometer, there are two knobs at the bottom; one on the letf and one on the right. The one on the right is pushed to reset the trip meter. The one on the left is rotated to adjust the brightness of the dashboard. Turning the left knob clockwise makes the dashboard lights brighter. Maybe this may solve your problem.

On the '98 Accord, the brightness control for the dashboard light is on the dashboard behind the steering wheel, to the left hand side of the steering column. It is placed symmetric to the knob you push to select or reset the trip odometers.

On the 2003 Accord, the knob is the same stick-like button used to reset your trip odometer. Simply turn that "stick" to the right/left, and the brightness varies.
