We don't have drive-thru schools.

We have a lot a drive-thrus for convenience. Most families here have 2 or 3 cars and more activities to go to than just "work and home".

And as for our "obesity rates", skoobieman, we're fat because we're a rich country that can afford FOOD! Only a shallow person worries about the appearance of others (I doubt your comment was based on concern for our health!).

Drive-thru's in America:

Fast food
Dry cleaning
Pharmacies
Wedding chapels
Libraries (some)
Social Security offices (some)
Banks
Payday loans
Ice cream
Pizza
Charity drop-off (like Goodwill and Salvation Army)

We could live without drive-thru's. Businesses offer them as a convenience, and as a marketing ploy--why go stand in line if you don't have to?

Drive Thru Voting!
Wouldn't that be something? You pull up, pick your candidates, drop your form in the box, and off you go! I bet the turnout would be much higher.

An ammunition drive thru. I'm surprised they don't have them. You've just done a drive-by shooting and need to buy more bullets fast.
