Hi there! Would like hear the review on this car as I might be getting one for myself soon. Being a sales personnel, I'll be required to travel a lot on the road. I'm open to other recommendations!

First... Somebody needs to tell Pepe that Suzuki IS a japanese company.

The Swift was an inexpensive economy car. It is the same car as the GEO/Chevy Metro. The fuel mileage is VERY good on the road, however, they were not very long lasting cars. Most were worn out by about 100,000 miles.

It will work in the short term for you, but if you are traveling ALOT on the road I would recomend getting the PERFECT salesperson car. The Chevy Impala. It is very Roomy, comfortable, efficient on the highway, lots of power, and is very durable. I know a salesman who drives one with the 3.8ltr V6 and he averages 29-30mpg on the interstate. If you travel ALOT (30-40,000 miles/year) you will kill cars value quickly. A 3 year old Impala or a 3 year old Ford Taurus is the way to go. Both will work well as well as have a nice big trunk to store all your sales stuff! Good Luck!

Keep safety in mind as well. The more miles you drive... the greater the chance of being involved in a crash. You will be alot happier if you are driving an Impala or a Taurus when you get hit by a truck than if you are in a compact car!

Well, the 2001 model was give an average of 7.7/10 based on owners reviews on MSN. I would check with maybe Saturns, a Geo Metro, Camry or something else like that, or even an Accord or Civic. Good luck with the search!
