Yes, Unfortunately I Think We All Have. I've Had 3 Family Members Die From Cancer. A Friend Of Mine Was Murdered Horribly When I Was 17 & Another Friend Died Tragically (Pregnant) A Few Months Later In An Auto Accident. That's The Breaks Tho.
I Wish Life Was Fair. I'm Sending My Best

I have been it was about two and a half years ago. This is really sad! SO sorry to be such a downer but this is what popped in my head first. I was at work and at the time I was working two jobs I was at my second job which was a morning shift on Sunday Nov 23rd. My father had been in a recent car accident where he was driving on the freeway going about 70 mph went off road. Didn't try to slow down because he thought he was going to hit dirt which it turned out to be sand. He hit a laying down Joshua tree rolled six times landed on the passenger side and lived! But what had happened is that he had been to the er and doctors office many times, but this day was different. I had been busy trying to get work done when I hear an ambulance siren I look up to look outside see it pass the store and think nothing of it.
Well 30 minutes after the ambulance had passed I had gotten a phone call from my next door neighbor saying my sister had just come over to have him call me to tell me to come home. I started to panic. I started to see how soon I could get home. I called my house phone there was no answer. I called my mom's cell phone and my pastor had answered her phone. I asked him what was wrong and all he said was that I needed to come home. At the time I didn't drive so he said his wife would come and pick me up. SO I had been waiting for what seemed like 30 to 40 minutes. I got frustrated and called my mom's cell phone again to see what was going on. My 9 year old sister then answered. She was crying. I asked her what was wrong. She let out a huge sob saying that "Dad is dead." She I went into shock and just started to cry. Luckily one of my co workers came in and took me home. When I got home I found out the ambulance I had seen passing my store actually went to my house. And the real horrible thing was that he died of a medicated drug overdoes. The doctors weren't paying attention to what he was taking and gave him something that killed him.
And that is my horrible news!
I wish your friend all the best! I know everything will be alright!

Yes, the day we found out my husband had cancer a 2nd time. after the first bout, they said if he can go 24 months without getting it again, he will not get it again. He went 23 months, and they found it again. He is fine today, but that was the worst day. We were starting to breathe easy about his 2 year mark. That happened 17 years ago. Best wishes to your friend, keep the faith.

I'm sorry for your friend. I got my bad news on Aug. 30,2005. My mom, brother, and I went to Pensacola, FL to get away from hurricane Katrina. We lived in Pascagoula, MS at the time. The night of the storm and the next day we started to heard stories from our neighbor at the hotel about the damage to our area. I didn't believe him because it sounded so unreal. We lost power in Pensacola for a while and that's 2 states away from where the storm made landfall. We drove home on the 30th and saw the devastation for ourselves. We were shocked. My moms car was ruined because water got inside and our house got water and part of the roof was gone. It was rough to go through but things are better now. Just be a good friend to your friend and the best wishes that he will come through just fine.

That really sucks. Sorry for you friend.
Yeah, I've been knocked down by bad news. It's an empty, lonely feeling when it happens.
