There are two very sad things related to this question;
1 With all the sh#t goin on in the world today that right out of the

Yes of course. It is also the melody to Baa Baa Black Sheep as well. It is a traditional French melody.
But the real question is: did you know that Mozart composed twelve variations on that melody? which has led many to believe that he composed the original melody.
