Over 30 hrs solid, with nothing more than coffee breaks. When I was young and foolish (the same thing!) I worked for a consultancy and had a strict deadline for a major report that needed to be written from scratch in just over two days. Worked the whole of first day from early morning, then continued all night without a moment's sleep, and then next day until early afternoon when handed the first draft in for comments. Went home for a meal and a few hours' kip, and then came back to the office around 4am to finish the job, which still took another 5-6 hrs to write and edit, plus all the printing etc. Then went to a meeting with the client to present the report, but to be honest can't remember much of it... So that's a total of nearly 40 hrs in a space of 2 days and a bit.

Won't do it again.

E gad I know what you mean ! When I got my first computer I easily spent 8 or 10 hours trying to figure stuff out...like I had to teach myself to write and send e mails !! My friends were toooo busy. Overall the pc still has a way to go in terms of user friendly. I remember the early days of television how poor they were and the need for constant attention !!! Thats where computer technology is today...stuck in the 50s !!!!!!! Come on Bill Gates get with IT .

Well due to work (from home) I spend anywhere from 6 to 8 hours pretty much solid on it all day. My record is nearly 36 hours when I was younger trying to sort a program out for my Computer Studies project at school !!!! ZZZZZZZZZZZ the next day !!!

I spent about 12hrs chatting to someone, apart from the usual bathroom breaks. Even sat eating at the keyboard.

10 hours, working on a book I was writing, without a break, because I got seriously into the plot line and characters.
