Are virgos usually mean?

I'm a virgo and people tell me that i can be mean at times (harsh). Are we the mean sign of the zodiac?

I don't know if Virgos are the meanest but can be harsh. Virgos try to point out what they perceive as flaws in others; but they are just as bad or worse; usually worse.

A lot of them talk to people any kind of way but can not take what they dish out. I can only think of three Virgos that I can tolerate.

Some seek perfection which is a pointless endeavor since all humans are created to be fallible. Growing up, I sometimes wondered why a lot Virgos were divorced.

Positive Factors

Virgos love any pagentry that gives them an outlet for their tightly controlled emotions. Hence they are delightful companions at these events. Virgos are discriminating and have a fine artistic taste and a wealth of information on many subjects. They are not coarse and do not waste money. Virgos are loyal to their friends and will be extremely kind, considerate, and helpful.

Negative Factors

Virgos are nervous worriers, and a friend who in some way feeds the worries will reduce Virgo to a nervous heap. Virgos can be cold and critical, so a friend who softens the barbed remarks with caring laughter will bring out the Virgo wit. Most Virgos find it almost impossible to admit they are occasionally wrong.

No, I don't think Virgos are mean and I've been around MANY Virgos. However, it is the nature of their sign to be hypercritical (they are also very hard of themselves). This can be very hurtful to more sensitive signs and is something that Virgos should analyze. Furthermore, if a Virgo is in a bad place in life where they feel trapped, they can wither on the inside and attack those around them. They can also be "mouthy" when they are frustrated and can say very witty, though hurtful, things. This is one form of release that they must reign in.

Virgos need a stable, yet free and creative, environment in order to thrive. Then, you will see that they can be the most amazing, compassionate, and loyal people you will ever find. Like any other sign, all must develop their best points and overcome the "problem" areas.

I also love that Virgos are so inquisitive and interested in learning new things. They stay youthful in their older years too and are especially delightful when they have learned to mellow some. They usually don't handle stress well and it can really impact their health--especially their tummies. So, take good care of yourself and it will influence others around you too!

I've read a book once and it said that the three most meanest signs are Capricorns, Cancers, and Virgos. So you aren't the only mean sign of the Zodiac. But you don't really have to believe them. I'm a virgo and I don't think that I am that mean. Virgoes are really insecure about themselves and they try to hide that by becoming harsh and critical.

This for MEN virgos yes ,among many traits they are unfaithfull ,if you change in any way instead of working the matter with you or even letting you know they just walk out with out any care about your fellings.The only care about how much money you make to share with them ,Are not romantic at all,they only care about their own pleasure and well financial &material being and totaly diregard other's fellings.I have seen this in way too many ocations involving virgos.Virgo men if they are married and they don't like something they stay quiet ,cold as ice and one day they just walk out with no warning and don't even care for the welbeing of their kids if there any involve.You will find and I'm sure you have heard that sex with a virgo man is the most Boring ever.I will not get caugt with this sign for anything in the world.Ahhhhh one more thing and this one is very popular .Virgo men if they divorce they totaly become disengage from their children and never look back. However women virgo's are quite different.

Actually I find that Virgos are quite wonderful people, they do come off as harsh at times but understanding that they mean well helps a lot. They are VERY intelligent, intuitive and quick witted people and I think that has a lot to do with how they can come off as mean...they don't have very good people skills. That is why you will usually see a Virgo sitting on the sidelines at a party observing more than participating.

Yeah I have met some very mean Virgos. But remember the reason they seem to be mean is that they are just trying to help the person out. It sounds nuts but they like to give constructive criticism that some people may think is mean. I have a good friend that is a Virgo he is very nice. But before I met him I hated virgos.

You get mean when you are scared, hurt or if someone is forcing you into something you are trying to resist. Virgo sign are the harsh sign. Their more hardworking type who sometime get caught in their emotion. I would say that Gemini is the sign that mean. Beside the way you act is part your zodiac it more like a part you.

I'm a scorpio and I can be harsh at times myself.. but I've spent time with virgos and the one thing that strikes me is their coldness... I've loved a few but they have a habit of early on freezing up on you to the point one was rude to me (by being shy and cold) and I finally gave up after she didn't have the decency to call and break a dinner date (finding out after worrying and loking for her, she decided to party elsewhere that night)... There is another virgo I'd love to get to know as the other parts of the sign speak to me but her coldness to me sometimes makes me question even if she likes me or not....

So for me personally, harsh..nah.. not like the coldness.. loose some of that and more people will be around IMO
