Just because you are a certain age doesn't mean you have to dress a certain way. As you get older, I would stop wearing the halter tops and short skirts and the things that the high school girls are wearing, but you can still dress cute and stylish at any age. If you need help choosing an outfit, go to a store that sells women's clothing and either ask for some assistance or look at the outfits they have put together on display. A lot of them even put jewelry, shoes and purses with their outfits to finish it off. And honey, 35 is not old!!! A fresh new outfit, some makeup and getting your hair done will make you feel young and hip...=)

You are not old and if you feel and look good in what you wear then carry on. I use to think 25 was old before i got to 18 now I'm nearly 24 and I think that you can pretty much dress how you want until your 50 thanx to all the ageing celebs out there like Madonna. But as long as you are comfortable who cares what the rest of the world thinks.

I understand the transition. I am 34, married and have 2 kids. I don't feel old but my body is not what it used to be at 22. I think there is a gradual decline in physiological performance until around 50-60, and then it drops more drastically from that point on.

Old is all in your head. I'm 42 and still wear my jeans , tanks and tees most of the time and have hair to my waist. The majority of the people I know say I look good the way I am. I thnk it's mostly in your attitude towards life and the confidence you show the world everyday, not your clothes and hairstyle.

Age is a state of mind. Other factors, health, aches and pains, signs of aging on our skin - contribute as well. I had a grandmother who in her 90's, felt she was 30. She was wheelchair bound, and had arthritis, but she was happy, and enjoyed life until her 98.

She told me once that God could take her body, but her spirit was ageless and timeless. I live this every day. Like you, I feel that I wish I was in my 20's again. I hate birthdays and getting older. But, this is life, there is no going back. So you have 2 choices - feel older than you need to by chaining yourself to a number "35" (which is young really) and continue to age by counting your birthdays - or really LIVE with your spirit. Try to reclaim what excited you as a kid, live out those fantasies you promised yourself you would when you were little. Dont let your spirit die just because society plagued us by counting birthdays and make us feel that if we are not 20, we are not hot and fun anymore. If you want to dress up, dress up, keeping in mind that you might not was to wear what Paris Hilton does. A women is sexy only when she is comfortable in her own skin.

Live it up.

What I always tell ppl....age is just a number!
I don't consider old with a number... It all depends on you...

If you dress like an old person and act like one....yeah, ppl are going to think that your older than what you really are.

I'm 29...and everyone i met thinks I'm 22, that's because I don't act my age, I dress like a young person...i feel young!

If your feeling older than what you are...you may need some changes like a new hair style, some new cloths (that make you feel and look younger)

Best of Luck to you!

35? You're the age when you're most beautiful! Not like when we were still growing at 18! Although I definitely say it depends on your face. Frankly some people could get away with it as they have baby-face features. I don't know how you look like but in general, a 35-year-old can't get away with wearing what teenagers wear that's all I'm trying to say. But for the last time: You're not even close to old!!

250 years! It's so stupid to wear long shapeless matronly clothes because you 're not a teenager anymore! If a garment suits you and you feel comfortable, wear it.my mum has this problem. She is 40 and has awesome legs , but always wears trousers or long skirts(Ankle-length) saying she is too old to wear knee length. Don't do that!( And 35 years definitely isn't old

Don't worry about what you are being told i'ts how you feel that matters. I'm older than you and I can tell you I am no different than when I was twenty, the clothes I wear or the way I behave, and I,m married with two grown up children, they all think i'ts normal.
