I don't think that all memebers of any group, sororities, fraternities, athletes or any activity should be grouped into one lumped category. I belong to a sorority and I know some women who belong to the organizations who are great...they are educated and have a very developed social conscious. But, I also know some that are complete airheads...but the same is true of any group/organization, not just fraternities and sororities. Who they are really depends on who they were and how self-aware that they were before they joined. I will admit that there have been some who were wonderful people until they joined an organization and then once they joined suffered an identity crisis....but again that happens in many different organizations. Like I said....it really depends on how self aware the woman was before membership and how confident she is in that identity, so that membership in anything doesn't negatively effect her.

I've never approved of the sorority/fraternity housing thing! They think they are better than anyone and I think it is demeaning and its and "advanced" group of cliques!!!
