Mensa is a society for people who have IQ's that are 2 standard deviations or more away from the norm...in other words people who have an IQ higher than 130.

Mensa is an exclusive club for people whose IQ is in the top 2% of the population, so a Mensa member is someone who is extremely intelligent!!!

It is the oldest and most popular of the high IQ societies. The only requirement to become a member is to score at or above the 98th percentile (iq 130; sd 15) in any standardized official IQ test. There exist other societies as well, with different cut-offs which vary from the 95th percentile to the sky high 99.9999999th percentile. An individual who is a member of Mensa International, and is supposedly extremely inteligent because the person scores higher than 98% of all the other people who take some form of IQ test.

MENSA is an exclusive private club, that is for high IQ females only.
It was created a long time ago, by intelligent women, who were really Pissed Off at the way typical men were treating women as sex objects and exploiting women as slaves to use and abuse.

The stupidest organization. My bf belongs to it because he has an iq of 160. he knows everything. u have to score 100 percent on the test to become a member. its very hard too.
