it would be difficult to make such a container, plus, not everyone wants ketchup, plus, the ketchup would get all hot, plus, it would make a big mess

Expense. They do not want to spend money on throwaways...

However, using a stiff paper container with a space available for mayo, mustard, ketchup or nothing at all- wait napkin for orders with nothing!

Unless they do not want to encourage lawyers claiming that their client was hurt eating fries and driving when he dipped his frie... NO that would be ludricous... like spilling coffee when placed between legs(if I had a million for every time that happened). Of course cool coffee when spilled was almost as shocking.

Of course filling the container requires 'live' help. Prepackaged individual sizes become more expensive(plastic=energy) then you will see built-in sides again.

And more seniors serving as they do not have any real retirement system or any medical coverage SO have to work... and enjoy the interaction if the rheumatism aint too bad!

Believe it or not less than 50% of the people put katsup on their fries. What, are you still 9-years-old?
Us Americans have to get out of the rut. In Europe there is a fast food chain that sells only french fries with about 12 different toppings, like Curry and even Chocolate!

Why did you say that on Yahoo Answers? You should go directly to the man at McDonalds with that kind of idea.

LOL, Have you seen the people who work at McDonalds? You have high school kids and the rest are, well to put it nicely, not all that intelligent or they'd be working elsewhere. Obviously there are exceptions to that, I'm sure there are people who work there temporarily while looking for a better job, but I'm referring to the adults you see working there for 10 + years...lol

how about just a ketchup holder on the side of the fries container so that you can put in what ever you want to dip the fries with.
