I tell everyone they should be in the ambulance business. A local company charged my aunt $743.00 to take her from the retirement home (she no longer can drive) to the doctor who is 2 miles away. This was 1 way and they charged her $47.00 for the rubber gloves they are required to wear when helping a patient in and out of the ambulance. They charged her the same amount to take her back after her appointment.
