They serve to be a huge thorn in the side of the United States, the very country that provides the land, and funding for them to even exist. We need to pull the plug on the organization. It's time has passed. What meaningful action has ever come from the UN?

The United Nation is not simply the General Assembly or the Security Council.

The UN also include Unicef, the WHO, the World Food Program, the Comittee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination, Human Rights Committe, Committee on the rights of the child, & a large PeaceKeeping force.

If you think saving lives is more important than taking them, you might see the UN as somewhat successful.

There is none. It was an attempt in the past to make us all get along but then the leaders got worse and worse and useless, and now they are completely castrated and in rebellion to their utter futility they make bad decisions just to make a decision. Inept,
