Hi there, I am 4 months pregnant, and have a history of ovarian cysts. Simple ones that disolve on their own. Now that I am pregnant I have not had any...until this pain I am experiencing right now. which is directly in the center of my pelvic area, and down real low. it feels like a catching feeling when I move a certain way, or sneeze..just like a cyst..I have an apt with my OB today at 3:00 anyways for my check up...I will obviously mention it to him then..but just for some sanity right now.. anyone know what this is or go through it. For the record no bleeding or anything like that that would be abnormal.

I was having a horrible sharp pain in just one area... it was worse when I sneezed, moved to fast, or if the baby moved... I went to the doctor and it turned out that I have a hernia.
Most of the time these pains turn out to be nothing... they just come natural with the growing baby in yuor belly.. At 4 months you are probably starting to strech out more and more now.. which can be quite painful..
I wouldn't let it worry you to death, but at the same time don't rule anything out until your doctor tells you otherwise.

Are you sure it's a cyst? When I was 3 or 4 months pregnant I used to have horrible pain if I sneezed or moved/changed positions in bed too quickly. It was actually sharp enough that it stopped me in my tracks and made me catch my breath. My ob/gyn told me it was round ligaments stretching (basically just your uterus growing and expanding and muscles stretching) to make room for your growing baby.

I had this too. Since I was lucky enough to work in a hospital and ask all my paranoid questions when I was pregnant, I got lots of answers to stuff. Anyway, I was told that it is my muscles and ligaments stretching as the uterus grows. Hope it gives you som sanity for the moment.

It might just be the baby pressing against your organs. You shouldn't stress about it because it might be bad for the baby. Wait till your appointment & relax until then.
