I want to buy a bunch of PS2 games before the PS3 comes out. Could someone help me pick out a few?

I already own: Final fantasy x and x-2, atv Offroad Fury 2 & 3, MX vs ATV Unleased, Madden '06, Dark Cloud 1 & 2, Star Ocean;Til the End of Time, God of War, All 3 Ratchet & Clank, Wild Arms 3.
Any suggestions?

Thanks, game guy! As you could probably tell by what I own, I love RPGs the best, then action, then racing. So tell me about the best games of these 3 genres, please!

Ok firstly, good taste girl!!!!

An um....going with any of these is a kwl idea: Broken Sword: The Sleeping Dragon, Ape Escape 2 (not 3, sucks >.<"), Gitaroo Man, Guitar Hero, Amplitude, Phantom Brave, Zone of the Enders 2: The 2nd Runner, Kingdom Hearts 1 & 2 (WHY DON'T YOU HAVE THOSE???), Shadow of the Colossus, ICO, Jak & Daxtar 2 & 3 (alot like Ratchet & Clank), Champions of Norrath, Dragon Quest VIII.

P.S

Oh, well um out of those genre's, I would recommend my top three that I highly suggest you get.

RPG:
1. Kingdom Hearts 1 and/or 2
2. Dragon Quest VIII
3. Phantom Brave

(There are better, but looks like you have em already :-P. I'm a big games fan, a bigger PS2 fan and the biggest RPG fan!! lol..)

Action:
1. Resident Evil 4 (OMG I can't believe I forgot to mention this!!! My apologies!!)
2. Jak 3
3. Beyond Good & Evil (More stealth than action but oh dear god you must buy this......no one else did >.<" A true classic that slipped under the popular radar)

Racing:
1. Burnout 3
2. Grand Turismo 4
3. Mashed (Good 4-player)

I could go into MUCH more detail....but you really don't want that lol. If you did just email but otherwise, you've been warned :-P

The Ace Combat games are some of best arcade style air combat games ever.

Devil May Cry 1 & 3 were Awesome (skip 2.) So Were the Metal Gear Solid Games.

Any of the Nipon Ichi games (Disgaea, Phantom Brave, Maki Kingdom Etc. are fun)

Magna Carta: tears of Blood had a fun combat system. ICO was classic, if a little short.

The Kingdom Heart Games were great. If you like Wild Arms games, give Wild Arms 4 a shot.

I like a little of everything. GTA, Hitman, Star Wars Battlefront 2, Medal of Honor, Time Splitters, LOTR, Tonyhawks Pro Skater, and of course a good NHL or Tiger Woods game are fun.

Based on the games you already have, Dragon Quest VIII, is the one you need to get, I also recommend Kingdom of Hearts 1,2, and why not go retro play the really old games like Splinter Cell 1,2, all the Metal Gear games are great, hope this helps bye
