My husband and i got married alittle over a year ago.. we have 5 kids between us from previous marriages.. i have 3 and he has 2.. They were our wedding party.. My daughter being the youngest was the flower girl.. his daughter was my maid of honor, his son was his best man and my 2 sons were his grooms men.. and we had a Unity candle ceremony.. and usually only the bride and groom light it.. but we had all of our kids go up there with us.. and we held hands with the kids and lit the candle, cause we feel we are not only uniting us, but all of us as a family..

I guess it depends on how old your son is. I got married last month, and had my eldest son (19 years) as best man, and the two younger sons (14 and 10) as ushers, and it all worked out fantastically well.
Whatever you decide, good luck with the wedding!

I think Page boy !!! It is down to your husband to be to find a best man, don't make him chose between his best friend and your son.

I say go with page boy ( ring bearer) if he is under about 10. If he is over 10 go with usher. Best man should be a choice for your groom.

Well it depends how old he is. If he's quite young then page boy would be best, but if he's older then best man as he will understand what it's all about. I'm sure whatever you decide he will be the cutest thing in his outfit.

I think it depends on how old your son is, i think if your son is an adult he may prefer to be your best man. I believe the best man should be the most important person to you (male) and this can only be your son surely

depending on how old your son is, I would probably go for Best Man. To me, that would let your son know that he means a LOT to you, and that you want him to know that. I would ask his opinion too. Give him the option. That way he will know that you value his input as well. A great morale booster for kids.

normally the groom chooses the best man, depending on his age your son should either be a page boy or ring bearer or if he is older he could walk you down the aisle as my 21yr old did last month. he was dead chuffed to be so involved.
