How to use Venus Comedo Extractor/Comedone extractor/Venus Blackhead Extractor to get rid of blackheads, pimples and comedones.
Pesky blackheads are a mixture of dead skin cells, oil and bacteria that builds up inside our skin’s pores.. . First, lay a warm, wet washcloth on your face for a few minutes. After a shower is an ideal time to extract.steaming the face, or using a hot water compress is strongly recommended to help soften comedones. This will make them much easier to remove. When you're ready to begin the extraction process lay the looped side on top of the blackhead - basically encircling this area with the loop. Apply slow and even pressure lightly until the trapped sebum is forced out of the follicle. The blackhead — oil and all — will ooze up and out of the pore. Do not continue to attempt the extraction if the trapped sebum is not released easily. Applying too much force can cause infection and scarring. When piercing a whitehead with lancet (Pointed end), wait until the whitehead breaks open, then gently roll the tool over the whitehead. Be sure to disinfect the area when finished and clean your tool off with alcohol or hot water.A deep, cystic pimple should not be opened with the lancet. When dealing with deep acne, it's best to visit a dermatologist. A doctor may use a sterile needle, but only after a pustule has formed.

Dry and/or greasy skin due to poor oil composition of the skin. Thick greasy oils clog pores, lack of oil leads to dryness and irritation. You need thin oils to moisturize while dissolving and clearing gunk in your poors. Try fish oil or seafood. 2 tsp fish oil a day or 4 servings of seafood a week. Stick it out for at least 2 months; it will take a long time to replace all your oil. Any effect after 1-2 days is temporary or random; so even if it makes you break out a little at first, you haven't given it a full try yet.

In the short term you can wash and moisturize well, but that will only go so far. Plus excessive washing can be drying and excessive moisturizing can be clogging. Use a small amount of a light moisturizer, made with oil not jelly or grease. Often that means soybean oil or mineral oil. Mineral oil means mined from the ground. So soybean oil is usually better, though mineral oil won't cause too much harm. Clean with soap and water, not a harsh acne cleanser. Even then they only work so well. So you really need the seafood.

Antibiotics aren't really good for bacteria long term, they'll come back in force after. Short term they may help. After you get off them find some kefir with acidophilus listed first or 2nd to replace the friendly bacteria they destroyed. Studies show less illness when you have these bacteria, even outside the stomach in places such as the lungs and elsewhere. You want friendly bacteria to fill the void when the antibiotics stop, not harmful ones.

In the short term you might also try 100,000+ iu retinol vitamin A (a megadose, and too much for normal use) or one of the acne drugs that is similar to retinol vitamin A. It's some minor harm to your organs, but it helps against bacteria on your skin. At least it doesn't have the other long term drawbacks to your skin that antibiotics and many scrubs do.

If you would like to learn how to treat your acne permanently and regain your health and wellbeing, without drugs, without typical acne treatments, and without any side effects, then this will be the most important letter you will ever read.

Warm your face with a wash cloth, or stand over a pot of simmering water (not too close or you can get burned). Then wash your face with a cleanser. Clearasil makes a daily face wash that works good and it doesn't dry your skin out. Clean & Clear has an astringent with salicylic acid and it helps keep your face clear. The safest and most effective way of removing them is simply to pop them, but only do so if you've opened your pores with steam or warm/hot water. You will not scar, but there will be some redness that can last a few hours. To get rid of this make a mixture of honey and ground cinnamon, put it on your face as a mask. Honey is a natural antiseptic and it also helps to put natural moisture back in your skin, and the cinnamon is a source of heat and an exfoliant. So leave this on your face for about 20 minutes - the cinnamon will help get rid of the redness from popping blackheads and pimples, it also helps reduce swelling - when you wash it off use it as an exfoliant first, massage in your face for a minute and rinse off with warm water. Follow with a facial cleanser. It works good!

Been there and done this: First of all avoid using products formulatted with mineral oil and animal products. These do not get absorbed by the skin and what it does is that it clogs your pores. In fact mineral oil is the 2nd worse thing you could do to your skins health #1 is the sun, it is like rubbing car oil on your skin and exposing yourself to the sun... Animal product come form rendering plants, these plants pick all dead animals from the road, meatmarkets etc and what they do is put them in a huge pot and squash everything inside and boil it the oil that comes to the top is what other companies use to formulate their "beauty" products ... gross i know.. eww lipstick and aghhh .. anyway, the important thing to do is read your ingredients and use the right ones regularly .... I use Arbonne's Deep Pore Cleansing Masque , their intelligence line their exfoliating masque which is a scub and masques (awesome) and their facial scrub anyway, their entire antiaging line which i love and I am only 33 years old, http://arbonnepuertorico.myarbonne.com under shop online, and have noticed that the blackheads have dissappear and when i see some they are easily to get them out with out marking your skin. they are botanically based and formulatted with no animal products and wihout mineral oil. works wonderful for me and the best thing is that you could shop online, receive it in your house and if ther is something you do not like about the products which is rarely to happen, you return the item and they give your money back .... you have nothing to loose only those hateful blackheads ;~)

It is so tempting to pick them, or remove them with those "strips". What I do is steam my pores, either in the shower or over the sink. Then I exfoliate my skin, and use a pore minimizer gel. You can also try Proactive, It works incredibly well, but costs more.

Squeezing them just leaves the pore open, so if you have the urge and cant resist, at least wash your face and then use a pore minimizer to calm the skin.
