Most of the nation's poor are black. No offense. But while they may not have the money for a 64" TV and a playstation, as most suburbanite white kids, they can ALWAYS afford a basketball, football, or a rock and a stick. That is why ANYONE who comes from "ghettos" are good at sports. Take Jason Williams of the Miami Heat. That kid plays street as all hell, but is white as they come. Because he grew up in that environment. He spent all his time out on the court with his friends instead of parked in front of a TV playing NBA 2K5. But Jason is an exception to the rule. It is sad, but true that most of America's poor are black, but it also gives them the motivation to spend all day on the court and get good, whether by working hard or just by repetition, so they can grow up to make millions. If you'll notice, hispanics are beginning to show up in a lot of other sports aside from baseball.

First of all I want to let you all know that I am a avid basketball player and have been playing since I was 5 years old... I am 6 foot 2 and am caucasion. I was born with hardly any athletic ability of my own... Starting at the age of 16, I worked on jumping and becoming a better ball handler... I truly believe that african american or "black" ballers have more natural ability... Now sure there are some caucasion ballers who can out jump african american players, but for the most part african american ballers have more natural ability... during my prime i got to the point to where i could jam a ball quite easily, but I had to work at it, where as many of the african american players that I have had the opportunity to play with, it came more natural...

Here is the truth. The United States is a country that thrived under slavery, it was how the US became an economic power when it was still a fledgling nation. During this time, slaves were "bred" to be strong and fast efficient workers. It was about 300 years of genetic experiment which we termed the slave trade. Today we see that in the sheer amount of physically endowed black atheletes. They are the great grand kids of former slaves (most of them) and since you cant wipe out 300 years of genetic fine tuning to strength and speed in a few generations, we see the remnants of that today.

Well, he was successful on the NBC radio show and all that. So why would people in the same business of his come to his rescue when they see this as getting rid of someone else on the ratings chart? Sure he didn't have much in ratings compared to others, but he did better than many in his league, so they see this as a chance for them to use him to climb ratings by being "shocks and appalled" by his remarks. For Sharpton and Jackson, who are they anyways to say what is right and wrong? Tell me where "Rev." Sharpton was ordained and I will give him 1% credit of my currently 0% credit I have towards him for future rants of his. For Jackson, same thing, and they do not speak for all the black people in the world or this country and Imus ruined himself by going on their show to say he is sorry. He did not have to go, he just had to say sorry and leave it to that, not give fuel to those two to ruin him. Sure Imus went overboard. I never listened to his show I knew what he was, but still, if he said he was sorry on his radio show and to the basketball team and left it at that. Not go on any other show and talk about it, especially Sharpton's, it would have blown over and he would of been fine.

Because of white racists who give them the ambition and drive to do better.
Because when you tell a black person you can't, it's a must to prove not only that we can, but also that we can do it even better.
So thank you racists for helping us to take over the sports world, by saying that we can't.

By the way, we're taking over the NFL too. We are the best of the best.
I may be mixed, but Black and Italian is a potent combination.

Why are 80% of hockey players white? Answer that?

Yeah..

Its a racist game.. Think of it as like the Gladiators in the roman times..

So your watching a basketball game right? majority of the players are black, what about the audience? majority of the audience are white..

So basically its like going back into the roman times of gladiator.

Who were the gladiators? Slaves and peasants right. Battling a lion.. Thats entertaining to them. What were majority of the people in the stands? Rich wealthy noble white men and women.

These basketball players get paid.. Who pays them? the white man..

So their still playing the racial game, which the black people are entertaining the white people.

because we had the talent for any game to take over. look at golf and Hockey. We had 15 black people playing hockey. Everybody is scared of Tiger. White people invented games and black people just show them how to play it better

man i just gotta say these people are so idiotic its not a racist game to that one guy.. no its not like white guys are paying them just like the gladiators. . you are stupid. its just cuz in places where more of the population are black, basketball is more popular. in a lot of places where black people are poor, basketball is a way to get out of projects and bad places if they can get scouted. white people can do the same thing its no different.
