It takes a lot to surprise or shock me,but when I found out my married sister was having an affair with a married preacher,that really knocked the wind out of me.
Also,when I found out my daughter's ex-boyfriend recently murdered someone.That took everyone in our little community toatally by surprise,since the murderer and the murdered guy were very well-known by everyone.

I was really surprised when Steve Irwin died. That was sad. I wasn't a big fan or anything, but he did have a passion for animals -- he just played with fire too long and it finally burned him. RIP Crocodile Hunter.

One hour ago.The dentist asked me to bite down on a wad of cotton wool and I clamped down on his finger.My gums were numb,so I did'nt realise how hard I bit him.I was surprised at how loud he yelled.I apologised then went outside and laughed smugly.This caused other people to be surprised,seeing someone grinning with a wad hanging out their mouth and......ok,I'll shut up now.

Last week my CHURCH going mom just decided to let me know that for the past 5 years she's been seeing someone while being married to my dad.
You know your parents aren't perfect but when one is a hypocrite, that tends to shock you a little bit.

I was surprised that when you lose someone close to you, to death, that you feel that if you let your pain go that you will forget them, even though it is nearly impossible to forget the memories and the pictures, its just amazing how the mind works.
