I'm just a stupid Liberal and a got confused in the voting booth. I accidentally voted for Bush in 2004. The first time was intentional though. I had a job that allowed me to listen to talk radio all day long, so I really liked him the first time around, but then it became more clear that he isn't a very nice guy and he's probably not smart enough to operate a voting booth either.

Situations change. He was considered the go-to guy in 2003/04 by most of the country. If the elections were today, things would be different. You can't ask a question about the past by basing it in the present. Time is linear.

Bush elected the second time? He was not elected by the people the first time, he was appointed by the courts, the second time the voting machines were ridged in Ohio so he would win. The lies continue to this day but worse is the fact that our kids are dying for his lies.

Because he spoke out against gay marriage and made that his main issue. Conservatives and Republicans come out to vote but some democrats and liberals don't. People who would have voted against him didn't get off the couch and vote! And I just don't think that people thought their vote through really. But since his ratings have plummeted I think people are understanding what is going on finally.

They elected Bush because he was the lesser of two evils. It's like Margaret Thatcher in the UK. Very few people liked her, but she told you what she would do if elected and then did it. Nobody could complain after that.

God I wish you middle school rejects would stop posting this crap. Maybe when you get to High School you can learn how 2000 happened and why. Then again with the liberals all running the schools you will stay happily stupid your whole life.

"Select" is the proper term here. 1st by Anthony "Fat Tony" Scalia and the Supremes, 2nd by some quirky voting machines and disenfranchisement... google "exit polls"
