Just choose something you are interested in, like music, sports, or whatever you are really passionate about. It should be easy to write a two-minute speech on a topic you know and love.

Pick a cool topic like graphology (handwriting analysis), phobias (different fears), spontaneous human combustion, paranormal sciences, reconstructive surgery, conjoined twins, a bibliographical tribute to someone you admire or someone they'll know nothing about (Mozart? Amelia Earhart?), a unique hobby (skydiving, scuba diving, spelunking, etc.), a place you've visited or want to visit, etc.

Sounds like you really care about this girl. I don't know what I can tell you that would change her feelings about this other guy. But from what you said, it seems that she doesn't have much in common with him. Maybe you should tell her about the stuff he says about her (maybe its against some 'guy code,' but its for her own sake). Good luck!

Speak about the insanity of liberalism. You'll probably be censored in the middle of your speech.

Try talking about gun safety. Most schools teach sex education but nobody teaches gun safety, and yet children kill them selves or friends with a gun they found because they don't know the dangers.
