Why is there hardly any coverage on where George Bush was right before and during the 9/11 attacks?

Why isn't anybody questioning what he did during, the week of, and directly after the planes hit? Just curious, as the anniversary of the tragedy is coming up. Five years, and not many have thought to ask.

to sarcastic, it doesnt really matter where i was that week, but i was right near the wtc!
we shouldnt be worried about where I was, because, lets face it, i dont have power, but we should be worried about where the president was. what if he were hiding in a second grade classroom reading a book that he was holding upside down? or what if that weekend before, he was not far from the highjackers, sleeping in the same hotel?

Well we all really know he was attempting to read along with the five year old in that class when the planes struck the towers. WHat baffles me (and I really mean that as sarcastically as possible) is why he was struck, mute, paralyzed, unable to move (obviously unable to make any decisions about how to oh, you know, run the country!) and waited there and waited there until it was certain that the United flight had met it's demise and then and only then after 4 planes had gone down (or should I say After he knew THE four planes had gone down) was he able to issue a Presidential edict that any other flights should be shot down if hijacking was suspected. 25 minutes too late... that's our guy....

My hell!! This country is filled with a lot of stupid people.

What was Bush supposed to do once he heard about the attacks. Run into a broom closet, change into his Superman outfit, jump from a window, and fly to New York City and hold up the towers. You are a moron, pal. Bush did what any president would do. He reacted as quickly as possible, shut down airports, tried to calm the nation, and then sought to find out who was responsible and hold them accountable.

Of course if Clinton had the balls to do this in 1993 after the World Trade Center was bombed in the parking garage there would have never been a 9/11 attack would there. He knew THEN that Bin Laden was behind it, but Clinton, being a bleeding heart, hand wringing liberal, didn't want to hurt anyone's feelings so he stood with his hands in his pockets and did nothing.

Since 9/11, thanks to the Bush White House cracking down on terrorism at home, there has not been a single domestic airline hijacked. Suck on that for a while. That is something Clinton couldn't accomplish.

He was in a safe location. That is where ANY president is to go during any type of attack. The President and VP are sent to separate locations in case the incident takes one or the other of them. Other key members are hid too. It's policy and has ALWAYS been policy. There is no conspiracy as most of you idiots think. It's for OUR national security.

EDIT: For those of you criticizing him for sitting in the classroom still and not moving, what's wrong with you?? Yes, there was a national crisis, but do you suggest he jump up and scare the kids to death?? I'm sure he sat and waited and remained calm not to excite and scare the kids. Him moving any faster and possibly causing harm to them wouldn't have done anyone any good. I'm sorry, but at that point, it was already too late. THINK for a change people!! GEEZ!!

Actually there is documentation of what he was doing when the planes hit, and it's in Fahrenheit 9/11. He was sitting in a classroom listening to the teacher reading a story to the children. When he was told what was happening, he continued to sit there for several minutes with a deer-in-the-headlights expression on his face. I've never seen anyone so totally at a loss as to what to do.

For those of you criticizing, I think the question Sarcastic Oracle asked applies to you...Where were you that week? i was giving blood and volunteering to take leave to assist in rescues and cleanup. I made a difference...did you just watch your tv and blame bush?

He was in Booker Elementary School in Sarasota, Florida right before, during, and right after. The clips have been shown endlessly on every media outlet in the world.

we don't need to know where the president is every minute of every day . regardless , there was nothing he could have done unless he personally could be at every airport checking people . the reason people aren't questioning that now is because it was 5 years ago and has already been covered , don't wory , the conspiracy started then and if there was something strange about his whereabouts you would have heard it

wow you have figured it out! it was him that did it! he made clones of himself and flew all the planes, then made up the story, murdered Innocent people and hid all the evidence. all so he could get away with starting an oil war, raise gas prices, and make lots of money.
