You should tell this person that it is very crucial for there to be a mother and father in all children's lives. Granted, you can live with out one or the other or even both, but for an emotionally healthy child you need both, regardless.

Me being a mom, I have broken up with my baby's father many of times but never stopped him from seeing his son. A child never has fought in what happen between his/her parents in a relationship. I even had a restraining order against my baby's father and let him see his son. I agree she is being selfish and immature because she can't get over him. I think he should go to family court and fight to see his child.

He has to go to the courts to get this problem straight. If she violates the order chances are he'll get custody. Makes me wonder why she won't let him see the child. Remember you are getting all this information from him and I doubt if you got her side of the story yet. Remember between 2 sides there is always the middle ground and that's where the truth lies.

For whatever reason she is doing this means to me that listening to someone about the matter is useless. All he has to do is file a petition and they will order her to stop and they will also set up the time and days for it to happen.

The father needs to do something about it. He could take her to court for visitation rights. I don't know what you could say to her. She probably won't listen.

I say, stay out of it. That is a very sensitive subject. He is a big boy he can handle it. There are laws to protect him.
