If so what did you think.

Yeah. I watched it. Broke my heart all over again.

All those good people, saving lives before dying themselves. Tragic, and heroic. And the man who had the second plane land on him, and yet survived - an absolute bloody miracle. 8-0

And when I look at how Bush seized the reins of opportunity and turned it to his own advantage, and Blair trotting along behind on his lead, I seethe.

It is as if all those men and women hadn't just died for nothing - it is as if Bush (and Tiny Blur) had danced on their graves in his haste to use 9/11 as his excuse to turn America (and the UK) into an armed dictatorship.

I think it was really good. I had to make myself watch it, as it's not an easy subject to take in. In the past i've convinced myself that all of it was too gruesome to watch but I suppose I was just burying my head in the sand. Last night's programme really brought it all home. Hearing it from a survivors point of view, rather than onlookers, gave you mixed feelings; one that it was great that they survived and there were heros, but on the other side of the coin, so many people died, and the programme didn't even start on what happened in the south tower. I think it just shows that human beings are amazing creatures that can adapt and excell even in the most traumatic situations. (Point to note: the terrorists that did this should not be classed as human as their behaviour is not a natural human trait). I could go on about this for ages. I don't think I've been quite so moved by something on TV (even poor old Steve) ever.

Yes I watched the first part and will watch part two tonight on Video Tape. The whole reconstruction was so well done. The writers must have listened to a great number of recordings of the phone calls and listened to the related events from the victims that survived. The one survivor that said that he wished that he hadn't come through it because the man responsible for his survival died.
The building engineers were also hero's as they were able to tell how the building mechanics failed so that such a total disaster can not happen again.

I think it's good to remember one of the biggest events in history.
It will cause a few people to think 'Why?', and then they might start to do a little research.
If they follow through, they will come to some amazing conclusions, which will change their lives for ever.

A friend of mine has spent five years researching and has set out his concusions at the site below

I watched "Flight 93" last night. To the brave men who died taking the plane from the hijackers: I'm proud to call you my fellow Americans.

I did not watch any, and I do not plan to. I don't like how tv stations are creating all of these shows to draw viewers in. I will commemorate the day, but not by watching it on tv.

It was well done. But it upset me following the individual people and thinking about the number who didn't make it out. That was the desired effect I suppose.

It was really good (the drama - not the events!)
There was one guy, Frank, who saved over 50 people and then died himself. How did they know that he did that though?

I did, and cried nearly the whole way through. Five years on and it is still so unbelievable. My thoughts are with everybody affected by it in USA on Monday and RIP all who died.
