Regarding angioplasties that were performed @ EMH Regional Medical Center in Ohio? There was a story published in the New York Times about a month ago. I guess we have performed more than any other hospital in the country & the think that some of them must have been unnecessary. So now there are attorneys from all over jumping on the band wagon to try & sue us. Do you know how much work that is going to create for me??? I work in the records department & I will have to pull every stinkin chart for them to review or for me to copy! WHAT A PAIN IN THE ***! One attorney said in an article that he has already received over 2000 calls from patients & they will be reviewing their records!

I will only get paid if they need actual copies, not for the time it takes to pull all the records just for review. I dont believe that the doctor did do unnecessary procedures. Trust me, in my job i see A LOT of people out to make a buck, that will try & sue for anything!
