I only ask because I recently answered a question concerning traits in people that others find bothersome. Some people replied fake.

Hi, Jenny,
People, who are trying to be someone else..
They lie about everything age/gender, ..etc...

They are living, in some fantasy-world..
And some of them, believe their own lies!

The reason I think, they act like that are : they simply don't love/like themselves..

So, they impose someone else... ;/

For most 'fakers' you can usually tell right off the bat b/c they have been to the town you just visited too!...they had the same exact dream too!...they said the same exact thing yesterday!...they have those exact shoes but in brown!
They say whatever they think is going to impress you.
For the 'professional fakers', they appear to be talking to you on a real level. Where they'll try to get you is, they work & work to gain your trust so that you eventually open up & confide in them. They are sooooo supportive & understanding & tell you "you know I wont say anything to anyone! I'm your friend, I wouldn't do that to you." The next thing you know everyone in the whole town knows what you told 'faker' but the kicker is... 'faker' added to it to make it a little more vicious. And felt all tingly & giggly inside b/c they enjoyed it.
Oh yeah...People don't 'appear' fake. They either are or aren't.

A person can appear fake by making themselves sound more important, not actually fitting into a group and pretending that they do, or the overall personality that dipicts manipulative behavior or exaggerating the truth to make themselves feel they are more important, high on themselves or the blatant disregard for others emotions. I hope that helps.

Fake is when a person behaves and reacts toward others, in a manner that is different and contradictory to how they act and react to things when they are with people who they are comfortable being themselves with.

It is altering your opinions and moods and replies and rational (whatever) to accommodate the needs of someone else to either deceive or impress them by telling them what they want to hear pretending it is actually an opinion they do not back or relate to.

When what you say does not fit the belief of another, the other often replies with the word "fake" in order to project upon you the fear that is generated within the other by your words threatening the others beliefs. This projection carries with it the emotional content of the others fear that the others MIND is converting from fear into accusation. If one is sensitive to the level of emotional content in the projection, one can ascertain the level of fear behind the projection.

Atheism isn't hateful interior in the slightest degree. it truly is not any longer to assert that there are some atheist who're hateful, yet many are pleasant and accepting of people. in assessment to many of the significant religions, atheism is a device that could coincide with all religions; monotheistic, polytheistic, nature, or in the different case. In my own adventure, i have met some Christians who're downright hateful to people of different religions. Being an atheist supplies the liberty to trust something, with out the regulations of a god or gods/goddess to assuage. Now there are diverse circumstances a Christian or a Muslim or a member of (insert faith the following) has felt wronged with the help of an atheist giving his/her own opinion it is opposite to their very own and went on line or on some type of media and complained that 'Atheists are all hateful jerk-offs.' And even as some are. maximum are not, a lifeless ringer for in (insert faith the following) there are hateful those who're more desirable said than others.

They appear fake by not being themselves. Rather, they try to impress others with useless information in attempts to make them shine...

I've always been myself, and if people can't accept you for YOU, they aren't worthy of my friendship.
