We all hope to see Tendulkar in the peak of form.

Well, you can´t question his ability. So, if he concentrates on his batting he will definitely perform. I think he has attack the bowlers rather than defending his wicket. If he attacks then he will definitely perform, but if he tries to defend his wicket, then I´m not sure if he will perform.

I think he has to take the role of somebody like Gilchrist. I´m not saying that he is better than Tendulkar. But what I´m trying to say is: Now he is 34 or 35 years age. His body is also not at that balance, as it was. Now it´s dificult to stay at the wicket for much longer in this kind of age. And if he comes out to bat and scores 30 - 40 plus runs on good strike-rate like 110, then it will be more useful towards his team. Then there will also be a chance of performing consistently. Because staying at the wicket is more difficult than scoring runs quickly. And who knows that this is not the reason behind his injuries?

Thanks!

One should accept the fact that Sachin is past his prime as a master striker of cricket ball. Age has taken its toll and that shows off in his performance. But still Sachin is still Sachin.
It would be more than mere day-dream to expect that Sachin will be the same player again.

Let him sit at home & eat "paav-vadas" made by his wife....

I think he is too good a player to be completely out of touch. He just needs a few outings and he should be back with a bang. He should curb the tendency to be flamboyant initially (Shehwag will do that) and try and get his eye in and his foot movement settled. The Malaysia tournament and later, the ICC trophy will reveal where he stands in his career.

Hopefully, for the sake of Indian cricket's world cup dream, Sachin should be back to his peak form. Let us all pray to GOD to give him strength & energy (with or without BOOST) and over come all obstacles to scale new heights in his career.

He MUST o/wise he'll be under scanner to retire.
We've to wait for upcoming Tri-series & Champions Trophy to see how he does it.

Problem is he's never been in such big slump in his pre 2005 career so its hard to tell how he's dealing with it emotionally & mentally.
