L.J. Smith without question. Houston wont be able to stop the passing game.
A. Crumpler is a top TE, but Carolina has some of the best CB's and safeties.

Go with the common sense move - LJ Smith.

Well lets look at a few variables. Houston, though they got a boast in Mario Williams, they lack OLB strength and speed to guard L. Smith. Their defense is still lacking and Mcnabb with that West Coast offense could take advantage of underneath, slants and hitches to L. Smith.

Crumpler may be Vicks most reliable target so Vick may go to him more often than not when if they fall behind, which i can see happening. The panthers have a good solid defense and they will be keying in on Crumpler and forcing Vick to throw to Jenkins and Lelie.

It comes down to who will be playing catchup. The phili, houston game might be close and when its a close score, statistics get spread around. Whereas ATL vs CAR, ATL will be playing catchup and more passes will come Crumplers way.

PICK: CRUMPLER.

Go with Smith...

Crumpler is coming off of surgery, and didn't play in the preseason much.

Carolina has a nasty defense. I think Philly should eb able to move the ball through the air against Houston. LJ could snag a TD for you.

Good luck.

I'd say Crumpler will see more action against a tougher Carolina defense...I don't see Philly needing to use Smith as much as they would against a more diverse and preventative D

LJ Smith...Crump dog's a little banged up, plus he has Vick throwing the ball to him. LJ Smith has a good matchup vs the lowly Texans.

Smith. Houston is still very unproven and their D, while improved, is likely going to have be on the field more, giving soem late game room to Smith in the middle.
