he has not yet justified his selection....
everytime he has been given a chance he proves to b unworthy.....
how long wud the selectors hope him gettin runs...

May b he has to take this as a challenge to perform better.....
then ther s no way the selectors cud ignore him.....
rather than talkin about his contributions n past laurels for the team....
it is only good in any teamwork to wait for sometime for an individual to come back to his rhythm or form...
he has not yet justified any of his selections from the day he was dropped the first time.....

the reasons are many......
1)a selfish man
2)hopeless fielder
3)batting average has moved in southward direction since '03.
4)sourav's fitness is worst.
5) cannot face fast bowling
6) cannot see any rising delivery
7)not a team man(never considers others point of view in any matter)
above all he hasan't changed his style of batting over the period of years, hence is easily predictable and easy to get his wicket.

The selecters had given enough opportunities to saurav, when he was consistently and miserably failing. His past glory could not keep him together in the team, when there was surfeit of young players who could fly the India flag with honour and pride.Saurav lost his race and is now condemned to oblivion.Blame is on him and no other.

Ganguly has lost his good form and is too old to come back. He should announce his retirement from ODIs.
Selectors select the team keeping inview present form and not the past performance.

There are lots of things that happen in Indian cricket without any logic. So many politics are played there from the time long back. So, don't ponder up on those things.

Ganguly was rejected from his team mates because the team mates knew that if we dont reject him coach Greg Chapell will reject the players
