a friend of mine is 3 months pregnant, and just found out one of her topical creams contains retinol- acid and vit A acid. she is so scared, i asked her to go see her physician, will the baby be ok?

She'll be ok. Next time she goes to her Dr., have her ask about this situation, or else call the office and put in a question to the Dr. The nurse will find out and call her back.

despite what the beauty cream makers like to say to try & get us to part with our money, a cream really cant sink through the skin, humans are waterproof.
the cream wouldnt have made a difference to your friends pregnancy. but like many pregnant women the best thing she can do is talk to her doctor otherwise this will play on her mind & cause her stress.
i wish her luck for the rest of her pregnancy & beyond.

She needs to call the Dr. Right away. You can never b too safe. The baby will b fine

Dont stress to much I dont think its that big of a deal. Just have her stop using it and tell her Doctor about it when she sees him or her.
