Well Ladies and Gentlemen, here we have it. Yet another classic in the series of homophobic questioning that also manages to be fattist all at the same time. As before, you will notice the genre of this type of question as being the 'but' kind. As, for example,
I am not a racist, but...
I have nothing against gays but...
I think immigrants are lovely but...
This questioner has furthermore tried to camoflage his homophobic leanings by attempting to lure the reader with what appears to be an innocent 'lead in' question. In reality, it is a question that doesn't need an answer as it should be of no one's interest but the questioner's own.
From this less than subtle opening and loads of flannel he cuts then to the chase where he decides to make no more pretence and just get to the fat abuse. Does one sense a hint of jealousy? A spurned former suitor for Mr. Lucas' hand in marriage mayhap?

1st mistake you made with this question was saying those 4 "phobic" words... "I have nothing against..." If you have nothing against gays, why even ask this stupid question? Even worse, calling him a fat tub of lard!!!!???? Maybe you are a true stud...I doubt it, but it is possible. But my guess is, you will not ever be as rich, funny, lovely and sucessfull, as that "gay fat tub of lard"

Yes, everyone knew ages ago. He's getting married to the person he got engaged to last year, so it hardly a shock.
Also, if you stop being so bitter about other people's happiness, one day, even you might meet someone who will love you for who you are as a person. Bitterness and jealousy are not attractive qualities in a person.
