Ok, I took some Pamprin for my period about 2 hours ago. I got busy this morning running errands and I forgot that I took it and my sinuses got to acting up so I took some Tylenol Sinus without even thinking I had taken something else 2 hours ago. I have no idea if this will have an adverse affect on me. I tried contacting our poison control center with no luck (they put me on hold!). Does anyone know if I should be concerned? I have my 5 month old son in my care and I need to know if I'll be ok. I still feel ok.

It's about 1600 mg total. I'm mostly worried about my ability to take care of my son. I don't wanto to kill over while I'm holding him or something you know.

You're fine. Really.

Naproxen is the active ingredient in pamprin, if I'm not mistaken. Acetometophine is the primary active in tylenol. Unless you took 4 tylenols, you wouldn't even begin to feel the side effects of mixing the two.

Plus, you gave two hours in between. Worst case scenario, you will have a stomach ache, and some constipation. But I doubt even that..

You should be OK since you only took a couple of each one. The
only ingredient they have in common is acetaminophen. That shouldn't be too bad. If it begins to make you sleepy you might want to take a nap when he does. But you shouldn't feel dizzy or light headed or anything like that. Does either of these medicines make you feel funny on their own? Try to relax and you will be fine. If you begin feeling ill call an emergency room but there shouldn't be any side effects from such a low dose.

I Think You'll Be O.k.

But You Should Call A Hospital And Ask Someone In The Emergency Room.

But You Should Be Fine. But Call Anyway.

As long as you dont start feeling ill than you should be okay. If you took the recomended dose of both and didn't overdo it than you should be okay. There is asprin in pamprin cause that is part of how it works it mixes asprin with caffeine for the pain killing part because mixed the caffiene makes the asprin work better and taking more asprin would just be more of a pain killer. So you should be alright.

You are fine..my 80 y/o father takes more prescription painkillers than that in 4 hours. People do this all day every day. It is not necessarily all that healthful but it is certainly not poisonous.

Pamprin has acedamenophen and Tylenol has ibuprofen. You can actually take these alternating two hours apart. You're ok.

Not enough to worry about my friend, really. If it will make you feel better say a pray to the Lord asking him to remove your anxiety, it works if you are a believer. Don't ever forget God is ALWAYS there for us

Call your doctor. I think you would be okay, but it sounds like you are very anxious, so a call to the doctor to tell them you are worried will help you and the baby.
