I got married because I got tired of finishing my own sentances. Then I spoke out once for myself and now I'm divorced.

Because it is a rhetorical question.
Only a woman thinks along these lines. No wonder you get answers flood in from woman.
Men are a different class unto their own. Men are from Mars. Women are from Venus. Their thoughts do not seem to converge.
But they do though. If you think for a moment, like a man, you will understand. You got to get into their brain and understand. It is the best way.
Will men will get into woman's way of thinking? Here again, they differ from women. No, they don't. That's where you start to think like a man.
FYI - I am a man and I answered your Q. Because too many woman just don't understand men. Understanding them is Job #1 for an effective relationship. (don't please, toss the ball back in my court. I just don't function that way).

When married you are a duo. A pair a group against the world. Women are programmed to express their emotions easier than men . Maybe through time women just answer knowing how "he" feels without thinking . Because through time it has evolved into that. he has a difficult time finding the words or emotions and she knows he is emotions and words. I think if it is OK w/ both partners than great. But I can easily see hot the man would feel he had no voice. I think you would find with most couples it is a welcome relief to him. But an annoyance also.My opinion

Because if you haven't noticed men aren't really keen on talking about their feelings. Women love nothing more than talking about their feelings. I would imagine that the man has been asked more than once and would tend to give one word or very vague answers. Thats just the way they are wired. Believe me if you could be a fly on the wall in a room with all men the last thing you are going to hear is them talking about their feelings about anything other than sports, beer, and their cars. Men express themselves with actions where women express themselves with words. Its probable that the women are just use to their men not wanting to talk about their feelings so they answer for them. After all who knows them better than their spouse?

Some men can say some stupid things sometimes and wives tend to prefer to speak for their husband before he embarresses them. That and sometimes husbands don't know how to put their feelings in words as well.

Women prefer to be the units spokesperson, apparently the man doesn't know how he feels unless his women tells him. Men don't talk about how their wifes feel for several reasons. First they don't really give a damn, Second they don't want to get in trouble when they guess wrong.

Because women are traditionally more emotional and involved with those kinds of things. Men traditionally won't really have an answer for that...they'll just say "fine" or whatever.

Men in general do not like to talk about how they feel. It is the way we raise them. They are taught from a very young age it is not ok to show their emotions so they don't know how to express themselves in this area very well.
