If the resources and talents are put to the best use and the tentacles of corruption and communalism and axed , there is always a chance. One should remember that India was home for the great civilization on the past . All the current "super powers" where then in darkness and they never had the clue of what modern living was .
India and Indians made the pioneering efforts in many sciences upon which many super powers made it to the top by working upon them. But somewhere during the course of history India lost its way and we remained at the back while others with limited resources but more perseverence made it to the top.
India should first find it's strengths and then work on it by shedding out traditional weak traits like laziness, cowardice, caste system and related communal untolerance. We should rather focus on our strengths by using the best analytical brains available on the planet ; as proved by the current Information revolution spearheaded by India. Then there is no reason why India shouldn't be one of the superpowers in 2020.
Imagine a golden period of time when the people from other parts of the world will thrive for Indiane excellence......!!

India will definitely become a Super Power by 2020. Not only that the World Form of Government that bringing the globe under one rule with the help of IT. India will head it. No class; No creed ; No religion; No color;Not Utopian. This is going to happen in next 14 years and India will dominate the Globe.

India is already a super power in all aspects of the terminology.India has one of the finest armies of the world a good air force and a blue water navy which has all the three capabilities that is air, surface and underwater ..To top this all it also has a large arsenal of nuclear weapons and a capable delivery system across continents.It has the best technocrat brains who are deli gently working for such prestigious organizations like NASA.The other factor which is in favor of India is its peace loving people who do not want to harm any living creature., what to talk of humans! They not only give refuge to fugitives like Jews Par sis, and now Tibet ens but would not fear giving their life for them(Chinese aggression of 1962 is an example of this)If India is declared a super power then the whole world would benefit from it .As the very thought of Indian philosophy is live and let live.
