My guy says wait 30 days but other sites I've seen say 2 weeks, I can drink liquor but it gets boring.

What kind of piercing? I've had my tongue and belly done, and could drink as soon as the swelling went down enough for me to drink! I'd say, if you can swallow, you can drink alcohol!

if you are talking about a tongue piercing.....my friend drank beer a couple days after and she was alright. Just keep it clean as possible.

Where is it?
If it is your tounge I would wait a month... or at least till he changes it to the new one... because the Liquor can kill the skin cells..

Once you pop the top, i wouldn't wait longer than about ten seconds to drink it.

IF YOUR TALKING ABOUT A TONGUE PIERCING....I DRANK THE SAME DAY...I NEVER HEARD THAT YOU COULDN'T DRINK...THAT'S NEW TO ME.
